The city of Vacaville is situated in Solano County in northern California. This city is situated 35 miles (56 km) from Sacramento, and 55 miles (89 km) from San Francisco, and it is part of both the Sacramento Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area, at least according to some sources.
Vacaville is the third largest city in Solano County as of the 2010 census with 92,428 residents.
