Saturday, May 22 Releases:
Chocolate Moustache – Brownie Batter (Bottles & Draft)
Smiles & Cries (Bottles & Draft)
Travelers Welcome 2 is a West Coast Double IPA featuring Idaho 7, Chinook, and Citra. The hops shine bright in this beer and at 9% you might be surprised at just how clean and crisp it is.
Travelers Welcome 2
Double IPA (9% ABV)
$20+tax&crv / 4-pack of 16 oz. cans
Travelers Welcome 3 is a HDHC Unfiltered Double IPA that was given the High Density Hop Charge treatment — a process in which we use a super critical CO2 hop extract to pack the beer with more hop flavor and aroma than we could with hop pellets or flowers alone.
We double dry-hopped this beer with Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado for a fruit forward, bright and intense hop profile to celebrate the past 3 years of business.
Travelers Welcome 3
HDHC Unfiltered Double IPA (8.5%ABV)
$20+tax&crv / 4-pack of 16 oz. cans
Floofster is a German Hefeweizen featuring German Tettnang hops, German yeast and all German grown/malted Pilsner and Wheat from Weyermann Maltings.
It’s soft, easy-drinking and full of the delicious notes of banana and clove that you would expect from a traditional Hefeweizen.
German Hefeweizen (4.8% ABV)
$14+tax&crv / 4-pack of 16 oz. cans
In & Out Of Focus (Foeder Aged Rye Saison)
This beer has been nearly three years in the making, it’s one of the first batches ever brewed here and we’re thrilled to finally share it with you. In & Out of Focus is a Rye Saison aged in our Oak Foeder for two years during which it was slowly fermented with brettanomyces and lactobacillus.
It was then emptied, blended and cellared for an additional year. The result is a lightly tart Foeder Aged Rye Saison featuring soft notes of spice and fruit with an oaky finish.
This is a draft exclusive release and will not be available to-go.
What’s New? is part of our Conversational Pale Ale series which includes such beers as “Nice to Meet You”, “Look Who It Is!” and “Hey Friend!“.
This Unfiltered Pale Ale features El Dorado, Strata and HBC 586 which hasn’t been used in a beer here at Urban Roots until now.
HBC 586 is an experimental hop variety from the Hop Breeding Company and it lends delicious notes of mango to this beer.
This is a draft exclusive release that will be available in Crowlers to go.
Chocolate Moustache Brownie Batter (Imperial Dessert Stout)
What’s better than a spoonful of brownie batter? A glass full of it. Chocolate Moustache Brownie Batter is an Imperial Dessert Stout featuring cacao nibs, vanilla and toasted walnuts.
This is the first time we’ve ever released a Chocolate Moustache variant outside of it’s traditional drop date (Valentine’s Day).
Chocolate, vanilla and walnut flavors meld together as a tribute to one of our favorite treats.
Chocolate Moustache – Brownie Batter
Imperial Dessert Stout (11.75% ABV)
$15+tax&CRV / 375ml bottle / Limit 3 per person per day
Smiles & Cries is Scotch Ale aged 18 months in freshly emptied Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels and then racked onto cherries and blood oranges for a complex cocktail-inspired beer.
Oak and almost vermouth forward nose, the flavor is rich malt and fruit with a bourbon finish.
Smiles & Cries
BBA Scotch Ale (10% ABV)
$15+tax&CRV / 375ml bottle / Limit 6 per person per day

We are developing a model of a diverse food production system, believing variety to be more resilient to world and climate unrest and more fun. We produce dozens of different foods from Asparagus to Zinfandel. Thus we are jacks of many trades and masters of none. While some of our fruits and veggies end up at our restaurant, Gracias Madre, in the Mission District of San Francisco, our ultimate goal is to have friends come visit us, stay a while and experience the earth’s bounty immersed in the beauty and community of Be Love Farm.
DRIVE AND DINE FOR DFS
Dear Friends and Supporters of Dixon Family Services,
We are currently planning a fundraising event on May 21, 2021.
Our plan is to have a drive-thru BBQ at DFS, in our back parking lot from 4-6:30. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we sadly cannot plan our usual annual indoors event, Comedy Night.
So we will do what is trending right now – A Drive-Thru Event.
Over the last year of Covid-19 and still now in 2021, there are an unprecedented number of households struggling and they are in severe need of our basic needs assistance.
We hope you want to help us and there are several ways you can.

As a way to say “Thank You” we offer 6 complimentary event tickets to $1,000 sponsors. $500 sponsors are offered 2 complimentary tickets.
Purchase Tickets: A $35 donation in advance. Tickets make an excellent gift for family members, friends, and employees.
